Company profile:
Weyhe og Myrup Aps. was established in 2001, but the owners, Malena Weyhe
and
Hans Myrup, have, for more than 15 years, been engaged in sailing in
Greenlandic waters with different wessels, the last 5 years with the
combined passenger- and cargowessel
M/S
"Søkongen". The ship is named "Søkongen" after the bird called
Little Auk in english.
The company is based in Upernavik, but
engage in projects all over Greenland, from Cape Farewell in the south to Siorapaluk
in the north.
Through the years we have performed logistic operations for t.ex. KNI Pilersuisoq
A/S, TELE Greenland A/S, Royal Greenland A/S, Polar Seafood A/S, Upernavik
Commune, The Greenlandic Goverment, DMI (Danish Institute of Meteology),
GEUS (Denmark and Greenland´s Geological Surveys), Nukisiorfiit A/S and many
others.
We perform charter based transportation assignments all over
Greenland, concerning cargo, equipment and/or passengers.
